For how long should LEAN be taken before seeing results?
Some people are seeing results within a few weeks while others may take a bit longer. With this said, it is impossible to say how long a specific person will need to take the product to see results.
According to the research, appetite control becomes statistically significant after two weeks of use, with the most notable effects observed after eight weeks. Each individual may experience slightly different results. Since MAKE utilizes Bioactive Precision Peptides™ derived from natural food sources rather than synthetic pharmaceutical options, the results may not be as immediate, but you can expect fewer adverse side effects.
Is it better to take both LEAN capsules at once, compared to taking one in the morning and one in the afternoon?
Taking two capsules is the recommended usage. However, if taking one capsule twice daily provides a better benefit, feel free to make that change.
I feel bloated and I’m retaining water. Is this normal?
It is common to feel GI discomfort when taking weight loss products. You may try taking one capsule twice daily to spread out the dosage over a longer period of time, and drink more water throughout the day.
Does LEAN help with blood sugar regulation?
LEAN does not work by a specific blood sugar-regulating M of A. It primarily focuses on modifying body composition by improving the ratio of body fat to lean body mass. However, a benefit of LEAN is reduced food cravings for sweets, which could help maintain a consistent blood sugar level throughout the day.
LEAN has brewer’s yeast in its ingredients. Is it gluten-free and safe for someone with Celiac Disease to take?
All of our products are made from gluten-free ingredients, and the Cerevisiae in LEAN specifically has been tested and found to contain undetectable levels of gluten (<5 ppm). Many brewer’s yeast products on the market are not gluten-free due to being manufactured and packaged in facilities that process gluten-containing ingredients, such as flour. Ours is specifically certified gluten-free.
Can people with yeast/candida overgrowth or issues take products made with this peptide since it is derived from yeast?
The peptides in LEAN are derived from yeast, and do not contain any active colonies of yeast. Due to this it should not cause any problems to those people dealing with yeast/candida overgrowth issues. If you have any concerns, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare professional.
Does LEAN contain Brewer’s yeast as it is known to raise uric acid levels and increase inflammation?
The ingredient in LEAN is a peptide hydrolysate derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is not the Brewer’s Yeast itself and as such should not raise uric acid levels and increase inflammation. If you have any concerns, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare professional.
Does LEAN have Sibutramine in it?
No.
What part of the grapefruit is extracted for LEAN?
The whole fruit is used for the extraction process of removing the specific bioactive polyphenols.
Will the grapefruit in these products cause problems with my medication that I am taking?
At Make Wellness, we have received inquiries about the presence of “grapefruit” in LEAN and HYDRATED, particularly regarding furanocoumarins—compounds known to interact with certain medications. To clarify, while the grapefruit extracts in LEAN and flavors in HYDRATED are derived from grapefruit, they do not contain all the components found in whole grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Specifically, the grapefruit extracts used in LEAN are carefully processed to remove significant amounts of furanocoumarins. These compounds, commonly found in grapefruit juice, are not present in meaningful quantities in the extracts used in our product. Each batch of grapefruit extract-containing ingredients in LEAN undergoes rigorous internal and third-party testing. These tests confirm the absence of significant furanocoumarins and ensure there is no risk of adverse drug interactions, such as the inhibition of CYP450 enzymes. Likewise, the grapefruit flavoring used in HYDRATED only contains those essential flavor compounds such as essential oils and essences necessary to provide a well-rounded, light grapefruit flavor. These compounds do not include furanocoumarins.
How is the grapefruit extract extracted? Does it contain quaternary ammonium compounds? Also are any of the ingredients corn derivatives?
The polyphenols are extracted using a combination of water and alcohol. No ammonium compounds are used. There are no corn derivatives in the products.
When is the best time to take LEAN? Should it be taken with food?
The best time to take LEAN is typically in the morning or early afternoon to support your metabolism throughout the day. It can be taken with or without food, based on your preference. However, many people find it beneficial to take LEAN with a meal to enhance absorption and avoid any potential sensitivity.
How much caffeine is there in LEAN?
LEAN contains 20mg of caffeine per two-capsule dose.
Would the caffeine from the Guarana extract impact those with high blood pressure?
This product does contain about 20 mg caffeine, which may increase blood pressure in some individuals. If you have any concerns, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare professional.
Could LEAN cause a cholesterol spike?
Lipolysis has been shown to elevate cholesterol levels to a minor degree. If you have concerns we recommend reaching out to your local healthcare provider.
Is the TrimFast used have any relation to the trimfast that was banned by the FDA?
No, this FDA warning letter is referring to Trim-Fast Slimming Softgel which contains sibutramine, a banned drug ingredient that MAKE does not and will not use.
