MEDICAL ADVICE DISCLAIMER: We always recommend checking with a healthcare provider, especially if you have specific health conditions or are taking other medications. They can provide personalized guidance to ensure these supplements work well together for your needs.

Could the oral supplements be affected by gastric juices and be broken down prior to absorption in the body? What will absorption look like for these specific products?

Our Bioactive Precision Peptides™ are protected within larger protein-peptide matrices, which shield them from enzymatic degradation and enhance their stability and bioavailability. This protective matrix ensures that the peptides remain intact as they travel through the gastrointestinal tract and allows for controlled release, extending their bioavailability. The matrix also facilitates the efficient absorption of peptides, improves transport across the intestinal barrier, and buffers them against pH changes in the digestive system. By shielding the peptides from oxidation, the protein-peptide matrix preserves their biological activity and allows for targeted delivery to specific sites in the body. Unlike pharmaceutical peptide drugs, which require injection due to the lack of such a matrix, our approach enables oral administration.

Where are your ingredients sourced from?

Our ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers all over the world.

Do you have trials that prove these peptides are significantly different from competitors?

There are no studies comparing the effects of our products to other products or demonstrating the differences between our products and other products. All current studies determine and report the outcomes and benefits of the peptides used in our products independently.

Are the products organic?

Our products are not certified organic.

Do your products contain Stevia?

We use fermented stevia as a sweetener for powdered products. If you react negatively to stevia, avoid its use.

Do you have silica as a caking agent in your products?

We use bamboo-derived silica as a flow agent to help keep the powders dry and free-flowing.

What side effects are possible with taking your products?

The possible side effects are identical to those of most other food and dietary supplement products: allergies, flatulence, GI discomfort, weight loss, weight gain, caffeine sensitivity, etc.

Where can I find the amounts (percentages) of each ingredient?

While we believe in transparency of what ingredients we use within our products, our formulas themselves are considered proprietary information.

Can the capsules be opened into food or drink to be consumed?

Yes.

Are your products Kosher?

Most of our products are vegan (Excluding FIT and ENERGIZED) and gluten-free, but they are not certified kosher.

Are your products NSF certified?

We are actively working to obtain our NSF certification, and this will be updated once it is obtained.

Which of your products contain peptides?

FIT, LEAN, ENERGIZED, and FOCUSED contain peptides. CALM and HYDRATED do not contain peptides.

What is the difference between therapeutic peptides and bioactive peptides?

Therapeutic peptides are prescribed by physicians as drugs and often contain synthetic, modified single peptides designed to enhance potency and extend their lifespan in the body, which can lead to more adverse side effects. In contrast, bioactive peptides are naturally derived from food and serve as wellness supplements. Made as nature intended, these peptides are bound within protein-peptide matrices that protect them from digestion and improve their bioavailability when taken orally, with fewer side effects.

How many carbohydrates are in each product?

The carbohydrate content is less than one gram in the CALM and HYDRATED. It is zero in all other products.

How many calories are in each product?

They have not been measured yet, but the estimated calorie content of each product is:

Fit - Approximately 8

Lean - Approximately 2

Energized - Approximately 4

Focused - Approximately 2

Hydrated - Approximately 4

Calm - Approximately 2

Can you take these products if you are pregnant or breastfeeding?

As with any dietary supplement program, individuals with an existing illness or disease, such as cancer, heart disease, or diabetes, or if pregnant or lactating, must consult their healthcare practitioners before beginning any Make Wellness product. Make Wellness products are not intended to treat or cure diseases or replace medications.  Your healthcare team can help you make informed decisions to support your overall health and well-being while managing your specific medical condition.

Are these peptides clean of LPS (lipopolysaccharides)?

Yes, our peptides are clean of LPS. LPS is found in gram-negative bacteria. Since our peptides are derived from plants, whey, and yeast—not bacteria—LPS is not present in our products.

LPS needs to be removed from synthetic peptides because they are typically synthetically made in gram positive bacteria. None of MAKE's peptides are derived from bacteria so there isn't a need to remove LPS. MAKE also tests all finished products for gram positive bacteria to ensure that their products are safe and clean of any potential LPS contamination.

Do you use mRNA technology in your products?

No. Sometimes, in the course of explaining the science of peptides, our Make Wellness scientists refer to mRNA.   mRNA, otherwise known as messenger RNA is just a natural messenger in all living cells—it’s like a text message that tells the body how to make proteins. While we mention mRNA in scientific explanations, our products do not contain or use mRNA. Instead, we focus on natural proteins, peptides, and extracts that your body can recognize and use safely.

What are the sources of the Bioactive Precision Peptides™ for each product?

Gingko (FOCUSED), Fava Bean (FIT), Whey (ENERGIZED), and Saccharomyces cerevisiae or yeast (LEAN).

Is it normal to experience dry mouth and/or dehydration when using your products?

FIT contains 100 mg of caffeine which can act as a natural diuretic, and HYDRATE is high in electrolytes to help replenish essential salts that we lose when we sweat. Both when taken without an appropriate amount of water may lead to dehydration. The directions for HYDRATE directs to combine with 16 fl oz of water and FIT up to 10 fl oz. It is also recommended that the average person drink between 91-125 fl oz of water a day. Drink more water, stay hydrated. If symptoms persist, suspend taking the products and if symptoms worsen go consult your local healthcare professional.

Can I add the peptides to hot water to drink?

No, do not add to hot water. Heat can break down the peptides and reduce effectiveness. Keep water under 120°F (49°C) if you are going to mix it with warm water.
