RESTORED is designed to restore your body’s natural sleep rhythm—enhancing deep + REM sleep cycles for true recovery and next-day performance and long-term sleep hygiene. It targets cortisol signaling, which leads to measurable shifts in the nervous system and sleep quality. Unlike mainstream sleep aids that rely on sedatives, RESTORED uses Bioactive Precision Peptides™ to help your body support deeper, more restorative sleep—helping you get the most out of whatever sleep you do get.
Key Benefits of RESTORED:
- PeptiSleep™ Blend
- Brown Rice (Oryza Sativa) peptide -- acts as an orexin receptor antagonist, which helps reduce cortisol levels—a key factor that can disrupt the sleep cycle—while supporting normal sleep architecture.
- L-Theanine -- naturally found in green tea, in promotes alpha brain waves, reduces stress perception and helps ease the transition into restful sleep.
- GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) -- a naturally occurring neurotransmitter that your brain already produces to promote relaxation and sleep.
- Apigenin -- a flavonoid found in chamomile, and studies support its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and calming effects.
- Helps calm the nervous system
- Lowers nighttime cortisol
- Guides the body back into its natural sleep rhythm
- Naturally works together to synchronize brain and body

How to I take RESTORED if I'm used to taking a sleep aid?
If you are used to taking an OTC sleep aid like melatonin and are going off of it in favor of RESTORED, going off of that sleep aid will disrupt your sleep. There is a transition period when switching from one supplement to another. Your body actively relies on that sleep aid if taken regularly to sleep, and while RESTORED works differently than a sleep aid, there will be a period where the body adjusts to the product. You can take your current sleep aid and titrate off while you're taking RESTORED if you find your sleep is overly disrupted from the change, but will gradually adjust to RESTORED.

RESTORED is intended for long-term sleep optimization and is not a sleep aid. Why do I feel wired after taking RESTORED?
If you are experiencing a feeling of being "Wired" or can't sleep at all while taking RESTORED, it's possible that you are experiencing slow metabolization of the product due to elevated cortisol.
When cortisol is elevated for prolonged periods, it shifts the body into a constant stress state that is actually energy-draining rather than energizing. Persistently high cortisol disrupts normal metabolic function, increases muscle breakdown, and reduces mitochondrial efficiency, leaving cells less capable of producing energy. At the same time, elevated cortisol suppresses other key hormones involved in energy and recovery, including thyroid hormones, DHEA, and sex hormones, further contributing to fatigue. When a supplement, like Restored, helps bring cortisol back toward a healthy range, mitochondrial function improves and hormonal balance begins to normalize, allowing the body to produce and use energy more efficiently which often results in a noticeable increase in energy levels rather than sedation.
We recommend that you take RESTORED 2 hours before going to sleep instead of 20 minutes. This allows for the product to be metabolized through your system and then your body can experience the full benefits. We are happy to provide you with the science behind why this might be the case.
If you're wanting more relaxation before going to bed, we recommend pairing RESTORED with CALM.
Can I take magnesium with RESTORED?
Taking magnesium with RESTORED is safe and will work synergistically with RESTORED, as there is no magnesium in RESTORED. RESTORED works for long-term sleep optimization and is targeted for enhancing restorative sleep, and isn't a traditional sedative sleep aid. Taking magnesium, therefore, would optimize the initial sleep process and enhance your sleep quality.
How much phenylalanine is in RESTORED?
Phenylalanine makes up between 4-6% of brown rice protein, and at the very most RESTORED would contain no more than 7 mg of phenylalanine per serving.
Can RESTORED cause gastric discomfort?
GI side effects with RESTORED are very rare and are typically observed only in individuals with pre-existing gastrointestinal conditions. When they do occur, mild constipation is the most common complaint.
Why do you have GABA, L-Theanine, and Apigenin in RESTORED?
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid)
A naturally occurring neurotransmitter that your brain already produces to promote relaxation and sleep. The 75 mg dose in our product is very low and aligns with typical amounts used in safe, natural sleep support. GABA supplements have been studied for sleep and mood support and are considered safe and well-tolerated.
For example, a clinical study titled "GABA supplementation, increased heart-rate variability, emotional response, sleep efficiency and reduced depression in sedentary overweight women" by Guimarães Seidel et al. (2023), showed that 200 mg of GABA daily for 90 days improved sleep and emotional wellbeing without adverse effects.
(Guimarães Seidel et al., 2023).
GABA has had an excellent safety profile since it was first introduced as a supplement in the 1970s–1980s. No significant concerns about toxicity, dependency, or long-term adverse effects have emerged in either the scientific literature or public health reports. It has GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status by the U.S. FDA when used appropriately in foods and supplements.
L-Theanine
L-theanine is another naturally occurring amino acid found in green tea. While some early studies focused on 8–12 week usage windows, there is no evidence suggesting harm from longer-term use, especially at low doses like the 75 mg in our formula.
In fact, like GABA, L-theanine has GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status in the U.S. and is often used daily for stress reduction, sleep quality, and cognitive focus.
One frame of reference that the scientists at Make Wellness often use is ethnobotanical history of use of plant-based ingredients. L-theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in tea leaves, and it’s something humans have consumed daily for centuries, especially in East Asian cultures where green tea is a staple. People who drink 3–5 cups of green tea a day — a very common practice — get around 60 to 200 mg of theanine daily. Our product provides 75 mg, which is in line with what’s found in a few cups of tea. So this is a gentle, safe dose that mirrors traditional consumption.
Apigenin
Apigenin has promising benefits on its own — it’s a flavonoid found in chamomile, and studies support its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and calming effects. In our formula, we include 25 mg of apigenin to promote natural, non-sedating sleep.
Our formula was designed to be gentle, natural, and supportive of your body’s own sleep cycles — not to override or sedate your system.
